Topo I

Topo I is the first robot released by Androbot Inc. in early 1983, operating as a simple radio-controlled mobile unit that could be controlled by programs made on an Apple II computer.

Topo I had no sensors on the unit, making its paths predetermined by its program, and therefore have it not technically quality as a robot. Any device connected to the Apple II computer could however provide as an external sensor, allowing Topo I to have added functionality.
